Partners

Lil’Sis’® safeguards user data by encrypting and storing it directly on each user’s computer. This decentralized approach eliminates the need for uploading sensitive information to servers, which could lead to censorship. Instead, users directly request data from one another. To ensure secure exchanges, brokers facilitate these connections, guarding against fraudulent claims by malicious parties. These brokers are interconnected, allowing users to communicate seamlessly, regardless of their specific broker. Furthermore, as Lil’Sis’® does not store any data on the brokers, users have the freedom to switch brokers without losing their information. This architecture, underpinned by peer-to-peer and end-to-end encryption, ensures that user information remains uncensored and confidential within Lil’Sis’®.

To expand Lil’Sis’® and enable diverse organizations to tailor it for their needs, we encourage them to join as Lil’Sis’® partners. Partners have the opportunity to establish their own brokers and become highlighted within Lil’Sis’®, streamlining the process of access, onboarding, and adoption for users.

To facilitate the growth of Lil’Sis’® and accommodate various organizational needs, we invite entities to become Lil’Sis’® partners. As a partner, you can set up your own brokers and attain the status of a featured broker within Lil’Sis’®. This designation enhances visibility, simplifies user access, and promotes smoother onboarding and adoption.

Why Become a Lil’Sis’® Partner?

Becoming a Lil’Sis’® partner offers numerous advantages:

Simplified User Onboarding
As a partner, you’ll receive a custom distributable setup, making it easier to onboard new users. Your brokers will be prominently featured as Featured Brokers in the setup package, ensuring they’re presented to users during the onboarding process. Connecting to your brokers is as simple as selecting them during the installation.
Customized User Experience
Gain the ability to tailor Lil’Sis’®‘s presentation and user interface to reflect your organization’s branding. This bespoke customization will be exclusive to your version of Lil’Sis’®.
Revenue Sharing
Partners earn a portion of the licensing revenue from clients using their brokers. The size of your share is contingent on the extent of operational support you provide to your users. This revenue can fund your initiatives or support causes that uphold fundamental human rights, including free speech, intellectual property rights, and privacy protection against undue surveillance.

Revenue Sharing Model

The development, maintenance, support, and distribution of software require substantial investment of time and resources. To support these endeavors and promote the adoption of Lil’Sis’® technology, we have established a revenue sharing model that rewards our partners based on their level of engagement and support provided to their user base:

10% Revenue Share
Partners who opt to distribute Lil’Sis’® without hosting their own brokers and provide only first-level support are eligible for a 10% share of the revenue from licenses sold. They will receive a custom distributable setup file to share with their users, and a tenth of the revenue from installations using this file will be allocated to them. Should their users require additional support, Lil’Sis’® will be available to assist.
25% Revenue Share
Partners who host their own brokers but require assistance with technical operations and can offer only first-level support to their users may have their brokers featured in a custom distributable setup file. These partners are entitled to a 25% share of the revenue from users connected to their hosted brokers.
50% Revenue Share
Partners capable of hosting and operating their own brokers, as well as providing both first and second-level support to their users, qualify for a 50% share of the revenue generated from users connected to their brokers.
75% Revenue Share
Partners who wish to tailor Lil’Sis’® for their specific needs and gain access to the source code to create their own version of the application are granted a special license for this purpose. These partners are expected to deliver comprehensive support, encompassing first, second, and third-level support to their users, along with limited fourth-level support for any custom modules. In recognition of their extensive customization and support efforts, such partners are entitled to a 75% share of the revenue from licenses sold to users connected to their brokers.

Understanding Support Levels

Effective technical support is crucial for the smooth operation of software. It is typically structured into distinct levels, allowing for specialized assistance from different personnel or organizations. The four levels of support mentioned above are detailed as follows:

First-Level Support
This tier provides immediate assistance to end-users, addressing common tasks, troubleshooting standard issues, and answering frequently asked questions (FAQs). It’s often delivered in the user’s native language to ensure clear communication.
Second-Level Support
At this level, support personnel engage in basic troubleshooting, including issues related to communication for applications like Lil’Sis’®. They also compile and update FAQs to aid first-level support and improve user interactions. This support may not always be provided in the user’s primary language.
Third-Level Support
This advanced tier involves in-depth technical troubleshooting that doesn’t necessitate modifying the source code. Personnel at this level analyze communication and event logs to diagnose issues, even those that are unprecedented. They often liaise with Quality Assurance (QA) and software development teams to suggest temporary workarounds for ongoing issues.
Fourth-Level Support
The highest level of support involves software developers who delve into the source code to identify and rectify software bugs. This level is integral to the continuous improvement and stability of the software.

Interested in establishing your own broker? You have the option to set it up independently or request our assistance. The fundamental requirement is to host an XMPP Broker on a server under your domain. It is important it supports the necessary extensions for Lil’Sis’® functionality. We endorse the TAG Neuron® by Trust Anchor Group for its compatibility with these extensions.

The server’s hardware specifications will depend on the anticipated user count and load, as well as your organization’s security standards. A good starting point for general use is a Windows Virtual Server (2016 or newer) equipped with 2 virtual CPUs, 8 GB RAM, and 100 GB HD. Additionally, the broker requires a static public IP and a registered domain name.
